Waterfile.net is not a contractor, broker, or agent. We do not perform utility installations, engineering assessments, or service jobs, and we do not guarantee the completion, pricing, or quality of any services rendered by listed contractors.
2. User Interactions and Quote Requests
Property owners submit inquiries directly to listed contractors through forms on our site:
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in your quote requests.
- We act as a direct transit conduit; any subsequent negotiations, contracts, payments, or disputes are strictly between you and the respective contractor.
- We strongly recommend that users verify contractors' state licenses, insurance certificates, and references independently before entering into agreements.
3. Contractor Listings and Claims
Contractors registering or claiming directory listings agree to the following:
- You must represent a legally formed business entity and be authorized to act on behalf of the company.
- You must provide accurate, active state license credentials (such as TDLR for Texas, DBPR for Florida, etc.) corresponding to your operations.
- You agree to keep pricing indications, operation ranges, and county services updated. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any listings that present false credentials or false information.
4. Subscription Payments & Cancellations
For Pro and Featured contractor subscription tiers:
- Payments are billed on a recurring monthly basis at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, payments are non-refundable for active billing cycles. Upon cancellation, your listing will revert to the standard "Basic" tier at the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Disclaimers of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WATERFILE.NET IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR WORK COMPLETED, CONTRACT DISPUTES, DAMAGED PROPERTY, PERMIT COMPLIANCE, OR SYSTEM FAILURES INVOLVING CONTRACTORS CONNECTED THROUGH THE DIRECTORY.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Austin, Texas.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When updates are published, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
